Students are able to follow safe workplace practices and contribute to a health and safety culture, in BCATS environments.

Update

Having secondary school students complete a Hazard Control register will get them familiar with the document and its use. This will help contribute to their awareness of risks and their responsibilities in ensuring a safe working environment and culture.

BCITO has developed a basic version of a Risk and Hazard register. This is an option for satisfying one of the requirements of US 29677, Hazards are identified and assessed for risk, and controls are implemented, monitored, and documented in accordance with workplace practice.
